**A little note before we begin today. Next week marks two years of 5 Things. THANK YOU ALL for coming along on this journey. It’s been fun, hasn’t it!? Starting next week subscription prices are going up $1/month or $10/year, so if you were considering a meaningful, paid subscription, this would be the week to do it! And not to really get on my soapbox, but a friendly reminder that work with a real human on the other end is worth paying for (if you love it here, of course!) Oh, and I know some of you can expense this. :) Now onto it.**

Man, a flimsy little sandal just looks so good in the summer. The naked foot an ideal accessory for a romantic summer vibe. But it’s hard to be in a rush, run errands or manage to get in 10k steps in said strappy sandals. Our poor heels. And arches. And shins!

So today, sandals that do their best to give us the barely there look we crave, without skimping on comfort underfoot.

Plus, a rumination on how to make Tevas look intentional. AND the best sneaker for when you are all sandal’ed out.

Part I: Skinny Straps, Substantial Soles
