Wow, we’ve made it to the last letter of 2023. I just wanted to take this week to reflect and THANK YOU all so much for being here - reading and joining in the 5 Things community. There are 32,000 more of you here now than when the year started and I’m just so grateful to have connected with you all. Thank you for bringing me your questions, giving me your feedback in the comments and helping each other! I could cry!
We’ve done so much together this year: Embraced huge skirts! Turned our dresses into tops. Raised $5k for gun control to keep our kids safe. Sold out ballerina flats, miniskirts, full skirts, gingham shorts, wide leg jeans, dresses and sunnies! Figured out that 501 is a category not a singular jean.
On top of that, we’ve shown the world what an awesome community we are. Thank you to The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Financial Times, Business of Fashion, Puck, Airmail, Vogue Business, Australian Financial Review and Elle for recognizing this space this year. It has been positively overwhelming and I thank you all for believing in me (and us!)
I can’t wait to bring you more great things and more styling ideas in 2024. And most importantly, give you more of your life back, away from doom scrolling and the wild world of e-commerce. After all, this started as a place to rid yourself of the excess and find only the best of the best.
I’ll be taking next week (Dec. 31st) off to spend some time with my family. A very happy and healthy new year to you all. And until January, I’ll leave you with a fun little scroll through some of my favorite outfits we concocted in 2023. Hope they spark some creativity as you rummage in your closet over the coming weeks.
Yours TRULY,
Becky
Until next year.
Yours TRULY,
Becky
Becky, I've just got to say: your enthusiasm and joie de vivre (sp?!) is infectious and your weekly dispatch is a delight! Merry, happy, thank you! ❤️🎉
I love your newsletter, it has transformed my style and the way I shop. And as someone who briefly tried to write a fashion newsletter for women over 50 and realized how much work it takes, I applaud the quality and weekly dedication.
