White T-Shirts That Hold Their Own
Five white t-shirts that make easy summer dressing a littler crisper.

This is not a list of the five best white t-shirts of all time (I’m not that arrogant!), but five white t-shirts that feel substantial or “designed” enough to not require some additional element. In the summer especially, we want to our white t-shirts to pull a lot of outfit weight. To do that, this unassuming item needs to be juuuuuust right. So many little factors matter: weight, neckline, opacity, cotton quality, hem, width, etc etc etc. When looking for a t-shirt that really is to function as more than just a layer, these are all things to think about. Do you want a bit of bra to shine through? Is the neckline sewn well enough to look dressed? Do you like a little roll in your sleeve? Do you tuck (need something a little longer) or like to leave untucked (consider a hem that its near your waist to not create bulk.) All elements that contribute to the final look.
So today, five white t-shirts specifically chosen for their ability complete an outfit during the sticky season, beyond your knock around tee.
*Though if we are talking about knock around tees I basically stick to the boys dept. t-shirts at Polo which run enormous, I’m a medium! Their seasonal colors always go on sale, and the crisp white tee with the little navy polo horse always looks great with jean shorts or over a swimsuit. Classic!
A couple of these you have seen mentioned before in passing, but I thought it would be great to have them all in one place.
