I love the fun jumble here, the creative ways you suggest wearing them, and your considered insight on what certain choices say in these times. Proof we can be fashionable as well as thoughtful people. Thank you, Becky.
Your newsletter is always the highlight of my Sunday-- thanks for keeping it light (but acknowledging the seriousness of the moment). Can you tell me what size you took in the LMND shirt? I love the color but they don't offer refunds so am nervous about ordering. I'm normally between an XS and a S with a 34D chest.
Taking the metallic cardigan out of the "dressy" section of my fashion mind and bringing it down a notch with casual pants is just so smart. It's also a great way to turn something special into a workhorse. You did this once with elegant silver strappy sandals, pairing it with silk shorts and a cotton shirt, and I've never forgotten that look. I think I'm finally getting it! Another great lesson this week.
Fun jumble is the best. I'm intrigued by straw totes but need to check my attic first! Also love the Natasha reference. I now feel badly for hating her guts when she was the wronged one! SITC occupies waaaaay to much space in my head all these years later.
Love all of this - thank you! It’s a much needed and appreciated little break from working in a hospital on Sunday. Lots of inspiration packed in this jumble. And I am not afraid of a Target housecoat! It would look even better with a martini in hand 😂 Did you purchase a small?
I copied a friend and just bought a pair of striped pants at Target. I think those and the utility gardener pants I got from Everlane are going to be worn to death by me for pickup, dropoff and grocery runs. Stripes ARE a neutral!!
The Chloe Bermudas are sheer unadulterated HEAVEN, but this entire edit reminds me why you are the CHOSEN ONE when it comes to Substack fashion editions.
Two years ago I bought a chambermaid uniform from @santafevintage - on their recommendation. Would never have bought it without the push. Having the five things stamp of approval feels validating on such a random purchase.
I have been perseverating over the Hunting Season tote for seemingly months and pulled the trigger Friday night. Excited to get it!
I am thinking of alllll my female relatives who wore house dresses back in the 50’s and 60’s and were proud, strong and intelligent women. You look adorable in that Target number, Becky!
Give me fun jumble! Puts me in the summer mood, and I feel even better about my gingham round-up that’s in the works seeing your perfectly-styled gingham house dress!

I actually bought a medium so it would feel roomy!

SITC for you, Big Bang Theory for me. We know our people when we see them.

I got the Sensi Studio bag and it's SO BIG. I can't decide whether to keep it or not! Wish it was a little bit smaller.
happy indeed!😃
So good. Per usual.
Becky! How do the A Emery flip flops fit? TTS? I’m usually a 6/36 but their size chart says 5/36 so I’m thrown off 💞
It fits normal, you can do 36! I'm in a 38, my normal size. :)

Every category was a yes! So great, and unexpected. Thank you! PS what size did you take in the target number?
Small :)
