A field jacket that solves all your (vertically challenged) problems, argyle for everyone, a cargo pant I don't hate, Club Monaco goodness and scratching the pink Prada itch.
I found the Filson coat and it was delivered yesterday! I have to say - it is PERFECT. Thank you for showing it and this coat will last a lifetime. I hope they restock so more of you can try it. The fit is flattering and those pockets! When I retire, I want to be like those elegant British ladies who are out in all sorts of weather, walking their dogs or whatever. And I will wear that coat with pleasure because it’s the kind you don’t need to ever replace.
The leather skirt and Club Monaco suit are so cute on you! And love the PSA about machine washing (!!!) the Bottega pants. I have tiptoed into hand washing a pair of Dries pants that said “do not wash” (held my breath, turned out great) and might even give them a whirl in the machine one of these days!
Loving the &Daughter argyle and that COS jumper is on my wishlist, I love the cut but just think it might be too dark for what I’m looking for. Patiently waiting for more brands to jump on board
Oh and that Prada skirt is soo gorgeous! It was in the window of their Venice store which drew me in but the price!? I ended up with two sweaters (one in pale pink) which I love!
Read about Jac earlier this week in the Jane on Jeans 'stack, and flew to the website for the Rhone jeans. Shed a tear over the lack of men's anything :( Sure has piqued my interest in denim for the first time in like an actual decade-mIght have to console myself with some Alex Mill baggier options.
Has anyone else tried the Ruadh Quinn jeans? I love the way they look! But I have a small waist and curvy hips and booty. So many of the great jeans brands are made for those who don’t have such a difference between waist and hips/butt. I don’t mind taking waists in, but often the fit is too off for that kind of fix.
I have an hourglass shape and tried these. THEY ARE GOOD. High waist - hits at the sweet spot on me. Super flattering. A little long on me but i kind of like how they pool so I may keep them long. True to size for me!
I also find these have a good nipped waist! Always an issue, the gaping space in the back. I took my regular 26 but I think I could have sized down for a sexier fit. Maybe should have?
I did not size down. I contemplated doing so and I think if I did they would be tight and not comfortable to sit it for a while since they sit high on the waist/very difficult to wear with a tucked in sweater. (I emailed asking if they would stretch and was told at most 1/4 inch). I got the lighter wash (the renaissance) - it’s a good wash - I’m picky since I think a lot of jeans have bad fading but these are good. If you dm me I can try and take a picture of me wearing them when I’m at home.
I have a pale pink A-line skirt stowed away in a drawer and I´m going to give it a spin with tights, mary janes and a warm jacket. We had an exceptionally cold and rainy summer here in Iceland so I didn´t use aforementioned skirt at all but I´m determined to do so before winter sets in. I´m a new subscriber and I´m so happy to be part of this community and looking forward to all the posts to come. Thank you Becky.
That jacket and that pink skirt!
Isn’t that just beautiful?

This makes my heart sing!

Delicate cycle obviously, but as long as it's not boiled wool, its a chance I'm willing to take! :)

Those argyles (first two anyways) are sold out! Love the And Daughter one but is their wool itchy? You are adorbs in your lady suit from
Club Monaco! I can’t do minis but you go! So much is sold out which is a bummer.
Ooh! Ordered those Ciao Lucia pants a few weeks ago when you linked to them; couldn’t decide how to style them; will pair them with bar jacket asap!
“1940s Ferragamo taupe” ! I love it.
I quite like that jacket. Reminds me of one of Grandpas Facconable ones in suede which I’m texting my mom about right now to go source…
Obsessed with a party suit and a STAPLE field jacket 🛍️

the jacket!
Love that whole club Monaco set! So chic!

So you didn't size down, but took your regular size? And what about the washes? I'm so torn! TYIA!

You can definitely wear pale pink with black tights!!! All winter!!! And thank you for subscribing and reading! :)
That Club Monaco jacket! I love. How was sizing? TY
Pretty true? I took a 4 and could have done 2. But a 6 would have been way too big.
