I’ve been eying those L’Amour des Pieds shoes for years and have never gotten them! Now I’m sad I missed out on navy so I’ll probably wait a few more years until I go for it. But Becky, I have what’s probably a dumb/embarrassing question. In your older post about comfortable shoes, you said (about L’Amour des Pieds): “The rest are fine but are not fashion.” Maybe this is the dumbest question ever but what makes these fashion and not the others?
This shoe feels properly vintage. It doesn’t have any of the tells of an ergonomic shoe, but just looks like it came straight from a 1940s costume department. The others look like…comfortable shoes? Does that make sense?
Yes! Ok good, this helps. The vintage look is why I was drawn to these for years (still mad I missed navy, but maybe tan will do) but I wasn’t sure if there was something else I was missing. Thanks!
Bought the Normandy on your rec - going back to buy more colors - it is truly light as air and shaped perfectly. Most tops like that do not have collars and I feel like the collar just adds a little something I need. (And I am layering it over the Nili tank that you likewise recommended, which I now have in multiples!) Thank you!
