Another great post. I will admit that I believed those Row drawstring pants (which I bought on your rec and have been wearing, like, every day) were navy, not black. I have been styling them as if they were navy. However, it turns out that in my wardrobe it really does not matter whether they are navy or black.
I love summer black- even here in Charleston, SC (once a New Yorker, always a New Yorker)… but I do find that I will mix it up with accessories to lighten the mood a bit.
Hi Becky, I love how you use all different bags with your outfits. I’m wondering logistically how you do this. When I trade bags I tend to lose track of where everything is – my favorite lipgloss, my pen, my wallet etc. Do you have an easy system for swapping?
I clean my bag out every night, psychotic, I know. But I keep my wallet/keys together in a tray at the door and swap out pretty much daily, because I like little bags. If I'm going to be carrying a tote, I'll keep my wallet/phone/keys in a pouch and then move from tote to tote during the week. One downside is I'm constantly losing my phone in the apartment. But I would probably do that anyway?
Not Becky but i have an “essentials pouch” from leatherology that i just transfer from bag to bag - carries AirPods, pen, meds, lipgloss, compact, keys, hand sanitizer,credit card. The small size holds all that stuff with room to spare.
You guys, I bought those Deiji black pants and they just arrived and I already am in love with them. They are the pants I didn't know I needed! Absolutely brilliant style for the summer heat. This is the second pair of black pants I've bought on your recommendation, Becky - the others were those Toteme ones - and both have been absolute out of the park home runs.

How does the jcrew skirt fit is it longer? I find I need a skirt that hits about 1.5-2 “ at most above my knee.

I went with my regular size which worked well.
To be more specific, I usually do a size 4 in US styles, sometimes a 6, and I went for a small. Fits nicely in the waist!
