I remember when the flared leggings were "in" the first time and I wore the hell out of mine. So versatile!

Adding my kudos for the Beyond Yoga classic crew. I have this top in every color they've released in the past 5 years. It's a workhorse, perfectly packable, great price point, and washes beautifully. Keep on the lookout for the intermittent "seasonal colors" as they are fab. Also, whereas I usually wear a medium in virtually everything, this top requires a large. YMMV

Good newsletter as usual. Loved the dancing lady and pun!

This is a fun edition. It’s going to take me some time to sashay through all the links and ideas!

I agree! I love "new to me" brands to explore.

Here for the technical base layers! I have a few tracksmith harriers that are perfect under cardigans and overalls; the merino adds a subtle texture (the scoop neck and cut on the tank version also hangs beautifully). Also, your last workout post influenced me to buy that brown beyond yoga tank and it’s an all-star! V good on the track; love with my cadetsxprince tennis shorts. Thank you for that rec!

I also find the Tracksmith Harrier tops so much more comfortable to wear because of their mostly Merino fabric. I always size up, though, to get the nice drape of the shirt.

So good today, Becky! I thought of you on our flight home from Venice when I put on my long cashmere cardi over a Kule polo, long scarf and styled it with Vuori joggers and tennies. So comfy and felt more stylish (and comfortable) than the way over when I wore my Ralph Lauren polo pants, which somehow aren’t as warm as the joggers.

Your 40th birthday pearls are stunning! I love pearls!! Hope they make a comeback….though in my book they never left!!

I have too many coats but that Toteme plaid one is gooood!

Love how you styled all these pieces! I’ve never quite gotten over the hump of mixing in my workout brands with my “regular” brands, but you did it perfectly!

In for anything “a little less mumsy” :)

That's is good to hear about the technical vs designer leggings. What do you think about collabs? I need a rain/fall coat hooded below hips. My currrent one is very good, but would appreciate it being a bit more stylish. APC had a version, but not quite right. Has anyone tried Boden coats.

Wow, another Five Things edition that has a few "new to me" brands to explore along with all the styling recs to put the pieces together! Beyond Yoga has been a staple for me and that grey windbreaker is a new color for me to add.

And, may I say, you are a lucky daughter-in-law! Will you share what earrings you decided on for your 40th?

After all that research...I bought a car. :)

Really great stuff. For the white crew are you folding the thumb holes up? Or cutting them off. That stark white is very appealing!!

I just kind of scrunch the sleeves. But as it gets colder I'm going to use them under chunkier sweaters!

Really don’t appreciate nipple pics. It just seems distasteful.

This is such a weird comment! The substance is weird, but also that you would make it at all? Yowza. Another great newsletter Becky! Always one of my favorites. Xx
