actually --- I think the last photo is the most flattering on you ; ) and yes, I do love my corduroy but I am one of those women who have the hips of a young boy ...
Haha highschool me who purchased flared light pink chords is rolling her eyes in defence but also I get it, chords never feel that great on in reality. Never thought about knee high socks off to buy them!
I keep hoping to find cords that look tomboyish a la Alex Mill, but keep failing. I thought pleats would help with the hip/vertical line issue, but no such luck. I hope you can figure this out!
Fave way to wear corduroy is finding 80s/90s men’s wide wale styles, just a little bit oversized. Look great brought up high on the waist via a cinched belt and with the bottom hems folded up once or twice to create a soft barrel shape. Perfect with a cropped sweater that hits just above the waist for good definition!
These Gap cords this season are JUST RIGHT -- wide enough to work over all boots/booties, perfect length not to need hemming, and can be styled with anything tighter or v-neck on top (to balance out the width and fabric)
Nili Lotan made some nice cords this past fall - in the low-waisted Jenna fit. I think they’re on sale now.
I have the corduroy version of your wool TOTEME pants and they are lovely :)
I bought and returned 2 pairs of cord pants in the past 3 weeks, still hoping the find the right cut for me. Yours looks great!
I love my cords!

Jenny Walton does cords like a champ!

Hi you find the cotton Falke knee highs work well when it’s cold? Or are yours a Merino / cotton blend? Thanks! I am very into the art of socks :)
I got a pair of cords from Mother and I love them! Mother is also my preferred brand for wide leg jeans.

What do you think of the APC Jane Birkin collaboration cords? I’m eyeing the black pair, but now wondering if I should be!
