I just wanted to say you do the absolute best sponsored content! I get so much value out of these issues as a reader and genuinely come away with a greater appreciation of the brand profiled.
Thank you so much!! I only work with brands I feel super confident putting my name and experience behind and work so hard on making it a great, learning experience, beyond just the brand! <3
I've had those Tory boots in my shopping cart for weeks. Had to finally press the order button today for fear that everyone would snatch up my size. You gotta do what you gotta do. Excellent looks this week and thanks for showing me more options for that Aritzia skirt I bought!
I love this concept so much! My friend, Sogole Kane of Another Fashion Newsletter, has highlighted the way people have Workhorses and Showponies in their closets too!!
I would love to know more about the clothing and styling that you recommend for your clients who work in conservative fields. Like, how would you dress a female politician?
I am also the person that wrote in a while back to ask about what to wear when we need to be more business formal rather than business casual, like giving a talk at a conference. Even just a guide to suiting (I struggle so much with suits) would be amazing. Thank you!
Well I am 40 so I hope everything looks elegant and refined for a 40+ crowd. :)
In response to A.S., yes, we are touching on that "conference" or "business formal" idea next week as part of a bigger story on skirts.
Suiting is always tricky, because it's SO personal, what will look good on each individual body type. For example, I have clients in D.C., NYC and TX who all have different body types and different style but similar jobs. So it's hard to give black/and white advice on that. The newsletter takes more of an approach of: this is the trend we are seeing in the market, here is how to wear it in a conservative way and a more creative way, for the wider audience to be able to interpret the trends how they see fit for their life/style. Does this make sense, I hope?
I always take into consideration comments and requests, but they will often be brought under the umbrella of a wider and/or my personal perspective. That is the difference between this space and my one-on-one client relationships I guess! Thank you for bringing me your personal style conundrums, I always love to hear them. Keep em coming!
I don’t know how to explain to this, but to me that shade of green is almost a neutral to me! It goes so well with all my basic colours. LOVE it on you 💚
So funny- my husband and I walked by the Tory Burch boutique in San Francisco this morning, and I saw the white blouse hanging in the window. I said “oh, what a cute blouse”, he said that’s a really weird blouse! 🫣🤣
I always look forward to your Tory content. This one didn’t disappoint. Immediately fell for the Lee Radziwill bags as well. And just love the look with the Attersee dress. It’s giving major school uniform which explains the giant smile on your face ♥️
Tory Burch stuff doesn’t fit me generally but her coats are soo great! I am trying hard to dress for the life I have so that’s the only thing that could work -hehehe! Need another coat like a hole in my head….The St. John Suit is great on you!

Yeah like what. New fixation just launched.

OOO! I didn't realize she has a series like this, I gotta check it out. Thanks!
Becky I’d be honored! Love that green skirt xx
Love Sogole’s Workhorses & Show Ponies series and have been so honored to be featured. This was great, too!
I’ve never wanted a coat more, just so flipping cool
Absolutely agree re the belt.
I’m glad you’re doing another workwear month!

100% on this. Also, business casual at 40+, how to look elegant and refined and bring your own perspective to the office.

Makes sense and thanks! I always find the different styling (eg conservative versus creative) useful. I’m looking forward to the rest of the month.
I love all of this...ESP the brown suit

So many goodies this week! Love the floofy coat, the St. John suit, the brown, navy, grey combos.
The Tori shopper bag immediately going into my cart! Plus love the brown + pink combo. Thx for inspiration

The buckle on the toe of those boots! Oh my GOD! Nonfunctional hardware, where have you been?
Would love some more shaggy coat alternatives too!
